Original Brief:

To take various areas of the Lethbridge Airports upper level main reception area, the manager’s office, the board room, and the emergency room to the upper level of the facility and modernize them with new finishes and furniture.

Solution:

The existing floor plan worked well for the client’s needs and functions. New upbeat finishing selections and furnishings were incorporated into the design to give the client a modern and aesthetically pleasing space that is now more in keeping with other facilities. The design inspires a lively yet comfortable feel to the areas addressed during the project. The function of the individual spaces was a high priority during the design selection process. Organization of the working flow and ability to access information quickly was assessed, and suitable solutions were found. The design also needed to present well to guests to the airport and reflect its forward and progressive thinking toward the future and the airport’s potential.
